    Vicenza, 22 May 2012 - The Board of Directors of Banca Nuova, which met today under the chairmanship of Marino Breganze, appointed Umberto Seretti General Manager.

    Umberto Seretti, who has been Deputy General Manager of Banca Nuova for two years, comes from the Parent Company Banca Popolare di Vicenza, which he joined in 1999 fulfilling various roles such as: Head of the Foreign Division, Head of the Corporate Division and Head of the Credit Division. He began his career in Credito Italiano where he held a number of prestigious offices, including Deputy Chairman of the New York branch from 1994 to 1998. Seretti has also been a Member of the Board of Directors of various companies including Sec Servizi, BPV Finance International (Ireland) and Nordest Merchant, where he held the office of Managing Director.
    In line with the Banca Popolare di Vicenza Group mission, Banca Nuova continues the policy to support households and small and medium-sized enterprises, also taking an active part in the economic and cultural initiatives of the territories in which it operates. In the first four months of the year the bank recorded a considerable increase in loans, deposits and customer numbers.
    Banca Nuova has already scheduled the opening within an accelerated timeframe of three new branches: in Palermo, Lipari and Vibo Valentia. It also plans to strengthen the network by opening new branches in Western Sicily.
